In this session you will see a live demonstration of a virtual read aloud, unpack some big ideas of read alouds, discuss the different types of read alouds and how to plan for read alouds. With this session you will receive a Padlet with curated digital texts, music videos and short texts to INSPIRE you to think flexibly about the type of texts to use with your students. There are a ton of other resources on the Padlet including two sample asynchronous read alouds to serve as a mentor for you.
